What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a UK privacy and security certification scheme which helps organisations to prove that they have achieved foundational data security and privacy by design principles throughout their organisation.
Cyber Essentials is awarded via annual assessments. The process requires organisations to self-report security systems, devices, and data management processes. It ensures that every part of the organisation that falls within the scope of assessment is following data protection best practices in their day-to-day operations, and that they are capable of reacting responsibly to data security threats with appropriate measures and planning.
For the purposes of certification, we placed the entire eBoss organisation within the scope of assessment. This assures you, our customer, that your data is always safe and being managed with UK government best practices – whichever part of our organisation you are dealing with.
